Afschermplicht voor pluimveehouders

DEN HAAG – De commerciële pluimveehouders houden hun dieren binnen nu minister Gerda Verburg (Landbouw) donderdagmiddag de afschermplicht heeft ingesteld. Verburg maakte donderdag in de Tweede Kamer bekend dat ze de afschermplicht afkondigt omdat de ook voor mensen gevaarlijke H5N1-variant van de vogelgriep steeds een beetje dichter bij Nederland komt. Volgens haar is sprake van een verhoogd risico.
