A LIVERPOOL primary school was forced to close today after being hit by a stomach bug.
A total of 35 pupils and four staff at Fazakerley Primary School have come down with the highly contagious norovirus, also known as the winter vomiting disease.
An announcement on the school’s website said it was being closed for “health and safety reasons” but hoped to re-open on Monday.
